Fitzroy North
Eminent Built delivered carefully managed alterations and additions to a heritage-listed residence in Fitzroy, seamlessly blending restoration with contemporary design. The project involved demolition of the rear portion of the home and the construction of a new two-storey addition. The original front façade was meticulously restored to its former character, including new pressed tin gable and strapping, replacement weatherboards, and full window restoration.
The modern rear extension incorporated a new ground-level concrete slab and suspended slab construction, featuring in-slab hydronic heating and polished concrete floors. Premium finishes and high-quality fittings were used throughout, complemented by integrated home automation systems to enhance comfort, efficiency, and modern living.
